PayPoint partners with Uber and Deliveroo to expand digital voucher services for retailers

  • PayPoint has announced new partnerships with major brands Uber and Deliveroo, to expand its digital voucher range for retail partners

  • Retailers will now be able to offer Uber and Deliveroo digital vouchers to customers, who will be able to purchase any amount between £15 and £150

  • The expansion comes as stores see a rise in demand for digital gift voucher purchases with 93% of retailers processing digital vouchers in their stores in the last 12 months (March 2024 to February 2025)

 

Welwyn Garden City, 24 April 2025: PayPoint has today announced new partnerships with major brands, Uber and Deliveroo, to expand its digital voucher service for retail partners. The partnerships will see retailers across the PayPoint network now offering customers the option to purchase new digital vouchers.

It comes as PayPoint has seen a rise in popularity of digital vouchers, with more consumers looking for local and convenient stores as a one-stop-shop for errands, parcel services and gifting options. Amidst difficult economic conditions, purchasing digital vouchers for money management, alongside gifting, has increased. In 2024, 93% of PayPoint retailers processed digital voucher transactions in their stores.

The new partnerships allow retail partners to maximise opportunities for spontaneous purchases, attracting new customers and offer new gifting options with a wider range of digital gift card services. 

Digital vouchers provide a secure purchasing platform for Deliveroo and Uber customers, allowing them to top-up and credit their accounts, or friends/family accounts, via the brands app to ensure they have credit loaded for when they need it. 

Uber & Uber Eats Digital Vouchers 

PayPoint is excited to announced that Uber (Inc. Uber Eats) as a new major brand to its digital voucher range. Customers at PayPoint stores can now purchase Uber digital vouchers. Vouchers can be used to top-up their Uber wallet so they can take a ride or order meals from their favourite local restaurants. Once the credit is loaded to their Uber wallet, via the Uber App, customers can also gift credit to friends and family so they can also enjoy reliable trips and deliveries from nearby eateries.

Deliveroo Digital Vouchers 

PayPoint is also very pleased to introduce Deliveroo as another major brand that customers can purchase digital vouchers across its retail network. These vouchers allow customers to top up their Deliveroo wallet and enjoy fast, reliable delivery from local restaurants, grocers, and more. Whether they're treating themselves or sending a gift, Deliveroo vouchers are the perfect way to enjoy a wide range of food delivered directly to their door in under 30 minutes. Deliveroo connects local consumers with restaurants and stores, providing a quick and easy solution for those craving a meal or snack. Customers can use their vouchers to enjoy the convenience of ordering from their favourite eateries or send them as a thoughtful gift for friends or family. 

Customers are able to purchase digital vouchers are available for Uber, Uber Eats and Deliveroo with any amount between £15 and £150.
