We can also assist your charity in obtaining the right Merchant Identification Numbers (MIDs) at the most competitive rates, tailored to the payment channels that best suit your needs.

PayPoint offers supporters access to Open Banking via API integration, enabling secure, cardless online payments with instant transaction execution. This service allows direct payments from supporters' bank accounts for single lottery or donation payments, reducing initial attrition. Open Banking can be integrated into your digital channels and is available on PayPoints face-to-face CRM/Tablet platform.

PayPoint Donate offers charities three flexible payment options to support Charity distribution of funds to beneficiaries with cash, energy, or shopping needs:

  1. Open Pay: Charities can instantly transfer up to £1,000 to beneficiaries' bank accounts without storing their details, using Open Banking. Payments are sent via post, email, or SMS for immediate use.
  2. Cash Out: Using vouchers supplied by SMS, email or post, beneficiaries can receive multiples of £100 vouchers from over 30,000 PayPoint locations throughout the UK. Vouchers can also be used to obtain credits to be applied to pre-payment (or "pay as you go") energy meters.
  3. Essentials: Beneficiaries receive an Essentials e-Code (up to £500) via SMS, email, or post. This can be redeemed for shopping vouchers at various retailers, usable for essentials like food, clothing, and household items.

Our service offers an easy and secure solution for processing e-commerce payments via your website, as well as Mail Order or Telephone Order (MOTO) payments. With your Merchant Account Identification (MID), you can use our virtual terminal to manually enter and process card payments on behalf of your donors.

Additionally, our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system automates phone payments. Callers use their keypad to navigate through pre-recorded menus and select payment options using dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) technology.

Send tailored, personalised SMS messages or emails containing a payment link to increase engagement and reduce payment friction.

The solution can be used in bulk or over the phone to initiate considerate donations and donors can opt to receive, a link to pay online, a barcode to pay cash donations into one of PayPoints 30,000 retail stores, or they can request a call back in order to pay by phone,

The donor can also be given the option to pay a one off donation or to set up a recurring card payment donation. The portal is PCI-compliant and can be used effectively in a call centre environment, providing real-time reporting on donations, and integrates with existing CRM systems via our suite of APIs.

CoP is a name-checking service used by banks and payment providers to ensure payments or donations are sent to the correct bank account. It verifies that the recipient's name matches the account details. Each year, many donations fail to reach the intended recipients due to incorrect information, resulting in unrecoverable losses. By using CoP, your charity can save thousands of pounds by ensuring donations are accurately directed to the right accounts.

Provide an easy and cost-free way for your charity to create an additional income stream. These cards require no setup costs, technology integration, or administrative support. Supporters can easily purchase them online, generating a new year-round revenue stream for your charity through an agreed commission on each purchase

Dependent on your charity's specific needs PayPoint Donate offers a suite of API’s that can integrate into existing back office systems and CRM solutions. Alternatively, we offer a secure web portal solution that can be set up quickly and requires minimal development time.

Our Event Stream will join up your data points for continuous streaming of donation data in real-time enabling your charity to send instant automated messages to users and respond to their actions immediately.

Our intuitive user portal, gives your charity team access to a host of insightful reports. You and your team will also benefit from the fact that reporting is consistent across all payment types, so you won’t be faced with any steep learning curves if you introduce new payment services.
